Japan appreciates Kuwait's efforts to solidify bilateral relations with it
Japanese Justice Minister Mr.Eisuke Mori on Wednesday voiced appreciation for the State of Kuwait for its unremitting efforts to solidify relations with Japan.
Mr.Eisuke's remarks came during his meeting with Kuwait's Ambassador to Japan Abdulrahman Al-Oteibi and First Secretary Mohammad Al-Mutairi where the Japanese official also appreciated Kuwait's keenness of steadily maintaining its oil flow to Japan in a bid to stabilize world oil prices and both the minister and ambassador had discussed recent Kuwaiti parliament elections, which produced four women MPs for the first time in Kuwait's modern political history.
They also discussed the Kuwaiti-Japanese parliamentarian friendship committee and visits exchanged within it, especially the one paid by a Kuwaiti delegation to Japan lat October 2007.On his part, Ambassador Al-Otaibi urged the Japanese side to visit Kuwait in the near future to observe progress achieved at many levels.Both sides underlined the historic visit paid by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah to Japan in July 2008, the statement said, noting that 2011 will mark the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries.
