H.E. Ambassador Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi meets Mr. Teruhiko Mashiko, Senior Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry

H.E the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi, accompanied by the First Secretary Mr. Mohammed Al-Mutairi, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Teruhiko Mashiko the Senior Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and a member of the House of Councilors.

Their Excellencies acknowledged the importance of the active diplomacy conducted by H.E. Ambassador Al-Otaibi with key-figures in Japan, and the continuous meetings between the Officials of both countries, in a reference to Mr. Mashiko’s recent visit to Kuwait in February 2010, and the role of these meetings in further developing the bilateral relations and the future advancement of the economic, environmental and technological cooperation.

On the other hand, Mr. Mashiko conceded that the diplomatic relations between Kuwait and Japan have witnessed a turning point with the historical visits to Japan by the Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in 2004 and then the visit of Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah in 2008.
