H.E. Ambassador Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi meets Mr. Nobuhiko Suto, Member of the House of Representatives of Japan.

H.E the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi, accompanied by the First Secretary Mr. Mohammed Al-Mutairi, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Nobuhiko Suto, Member of the House of Representatives and Director of the Committee on Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Mr. Suto is also a member of the Special Committee on Politics’ Ethics and Election Law.

During the meeting, Mr. Suto expressed his deep interest in the Middle-East region in general, and in the Gulf area in particular, in a reference to the historic ties between Japan and the State of Kuwait that goes back to a half century ago.

Their Excellencies focused on the ways to promote the advancement of the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and Japan to include developmental fields such as the renewable energy and new technologies, thus exceeding the traditional oil industry which has been the main trading sector between both countries for several decades.
