Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research and Aquamarine Fukushima signed Friendship Resolution in Fukushima
Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and Fukushima Prefectural Marine Science Museum “Aquamarine Fukushima” signed the friendship resolution in Iwaki City, Fukushima.
The signing ceremony was held in front of the large water tank in the aquarium. Dr. Naji Al-Mutairi, Director General of KISR and Mr. Yoshitaka Abe, Executive Director of Aquamarine Fukushima signed the friendship resolution promising future cooperation with each other in the various scientific research fields such as food and biotechnology resources, water resources, petroleum, petrochemicals and material sciences, environment and urban development, energy technologies and techno-economies.
Both of the directors pledged to launch joint projects and deepen their ties further through proactive exchange of information, researchers and staff.
His Excellency Mr. Abdul-Rahman Humood Al-Otaibi, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan was invited to attend the ceremony, witnessed the signing and made a congratulatory speech on the occasion and appreciated the conclusion of the friendship resolution as the remarkable opportunity in the history of Japan-Kuwait relationship for adding new aspects to the existing ties.
