February 21, 2010: H.E. The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait receives the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Kuwait

H.E. The Ambassador Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi received in his office in Tokyo the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Kuwait H.E. Dr. Adel A F H Al-Falah, accompanied by a distinguished delegation who is participating in the 8th Seminar on “The Dialogue among civilizations between Japan and the Islamic World”, held in Tokyo.

The Seminar was launched in 2001, under the guidance of then Foreign Minister of Japan H.E Yohei Kono with the purpose to enrich the understanding between the Islamic countries and Japan and to enhance people to people exchanges and to strike a common understanding for these nations to tackle the global issues.

At the Riyadh meeting in March 2008, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia launched his initiative of the interfaith dialogue which was institutionalized during the 7th Seminar that was held in Kuwait in 2009.
