Cultural exchange program through Calligraphy (Shodo) between the Embassy of the State of Kuwait and students from Hiroshima
The Embassy of the State of Kuwait received Kumanohigashi Junior High School students as part of Embassy’s cultural exchange program, and their school’s program promoting Kumano town and “Kumano Brush”, traditional art craft of the town, to the world.
Mr. Yousef AlTarkit, Second Secretary, welcomed them and enjoyed their presentation about Kumano town and “Kumano Brush”. They also performed Japanese calligraphy with the renowned brush from Hiroshima.
The Embassy made a presentation about Kuwait and performed Arabic calligraphy, which is one of Arab traditional cultures.
