The embassy of the State of Kuwait made a visit to Mita Elementary School

Upon invitation of Mita Elementary School, Second Secretary Mr. Yousef AlTarkit made a presentation and interacted with students at the school. The embassy of the State of Kuwait welcomed four groups from Mita Elementary School fifth grade students separately in September and October, this time Mr. AlTarkit visited the school to make a presentation for sixth grade students. Mr. AlTarkit introduced lifestyle, culture, history, and political system in Kuwait, in addition to the Arabic language, and responded to many questions from the students. It was impressive that the students showed strong interest in modern history and politics of Kuwait.
As part of the school’s program aiming at deepening students’ understanding of other countries’ cultures including food, the students discover food from around the world for lunch. Today’s school lunch was Kuwaiti cuisine. Mr. AlTarkit had Kuwaiti lunch together with fifth grade students and interacted with them.
