A host of Arab and Asian journalists praised on Monday preparations by the Kuwaiti Information Ministry and the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) organizing committee, which contributed in providing a better coverage for the major event. The preparations gave foreign correspondents the liberty to cover the event in a professional manner, senior correspondent of the Japanese national news agency (NHK), Nobuhisa Degawa told KUNA. The gathering is getting the attention of Japanese media outlets, especially news about mutual cooperation and deliberations among Members States, Degawa noted.
To mark this special occasion of hosting a high-profile international summit in the State of Kuwait, prior to the opening of the summit, the University of Kuwait organized an academic forum entitled ‘Asia: Future Visions’. The two-day academic forum was attended by scholars from several countries including Professor Sadashi Fukuda of Japan who delivered a lecture ‘Japan and Asian Countries’ in the session ‘Asian Economic Visions’ on Day Two of the forum.
